Can we use webm's on the site?

I've tried entering the address into both the picture and video field but neither works.

As a work around could you not just post it on youtube first then copy and paste on to here.

Any site really I had none in mind. I just wondered if the site had restrictions on webms, and if not, can we use them.

They need to be setup a bit like a video in a frame on the site, so we need to setup specific codes for them a bit like videos (where we support Dailymotion, facebook, liveleak, metacafe, vimeo, vine and youtube)

I thought as much. Is it too much of a clart on? Can you not just set it up like images/gifs?

Get it done if yous can. Gifs are crap. A 10mb gif can be made into a 1mb webm. Webms can have sound aswell. Might be great for the site.

As I said, its possible, but we need to add different code for each site they are posted from.

Images are handled differently by standard html code so the same no matter where they are posted from.
