Couldn't get a taxi yesterday afternoon so had to drive to The Stack at Seaburn. Walked over to pick it up earlier and it is ridiculously icy underfoot.
There's a stretch opposite the Seaburn Hotel that is sheer black ice.
Luckily I got a lift home last night as I didn't fancy my chances of getting a taxi and the walk home wasn't appealing.

lots of times, at least twice in the last 6 or 7 years we have been sunning ourselves in Portugal and seen photos of snow back home.
