I didn't mind playing football in torrential rain & even snow but I hated playing in strong winds.

Agree - absolutely ruins a game. tactics go out of the window, it's just a grit your teeth (and lottery). I'm going down to Southend on Saturday and forecast is for 49mph wind at kick off. It'll rattle right through that ground (if it doesn't blow it apart)

A hell of a lot of our supporters live out of town and I would not blame them for not traveling in this weather. Why should they put themselves at risk.
