Wear-Tees Derby

The 34,742 capacity was before Boro played in the Premier League when ground modifications reduced it.

Capacity after segregation is circa 31,400.

Plenty of reasons not to hit 30,000. Monday night, live on TV, kids back at school, early season, expensive tickets, cost of living increases, Boro bang out of form, playing a team who have been in League One for 5 seasons and "just another game" for Boro fans (unlike Sunderland who will sell out their allocation with it being a big derby game for them).

26,200 sold in total to date.

Full madone for that like 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

For most of our younger newer fans Sunderland is low down on the pecking list. Way behind the likes of Leeds and then recent rivalries driven by various issues and social media like Derby and Burnley.

I visit this forum and OneBoro/FMTTM, this forum talks far more about Boro than either Boro forums do about Sunderland. By a considerable margin.
