Jack Ross' league win percentage record:

Alloa Athletic: - Season 1 - 11%; Season 2 - 63%
St. Mirren: - Season 1 - 32%; Season 2 - 64%
Sunderland: - Season 1 - 48% - Season 2 - ???

...and the inevitable question, Ross's league draw record:

Alloa Athletic: - Season 1 - 37%; Season 2 - 11%
St. Mirren: - Season 1 - 29%; Season 2 - 14%
Sunderland: - Season 1 - 41%; Season 2 - ???

Different context of course but massive improvement in second season.

Looks like a lot of research has gone into this.

Howld on context:

Alloa, took over December 15 and was unable to stop them getting relegated.

He led them to a ten game winning streak the following season, but left them in second place in Scottish League One in October 2016, so he didn't stay a season.

34 games, won 13, drawn 8, lost 13

St Mirren
appointed October 16 and guided them to safety. The following season he got them promoted from the Scottish Championship.

80 games, won 42, Drawn 13, lost 25

So yes he done well, but the second season thing may be skewed slightly by the fact he never had a full first season at St Mirren or at Alloa never actually having a full season, whereas he he did have a first full season.

Good point. That does make a difference. Especially the relegation at Alloa. Hopefully he can find a similar improvement anyway!

That is interesting particularly that we dont need massive improvement to get out of this league...we just need to be a bit better

this shockingly looks like he might learn and adapt. this kind of talk is not permitted around these parts.

Have you watched us pre season?

It’ll take an almighty effort given the crap on offer again so far

Whatever happens let’s be sure of this; safc have no more excuses for not getting out of this shit league and anyone making them can expect a load of grief if we fuck it up again
Pre season means nothing. Under moyes we drew with Dortmund with players like aubameyang playing and look at how that season went

To be fair I’ve just gave the club £1400 and I wasn’t really expecting what’s followed since. While the ink on the cheque was drying all I could hear was “100 points” and once it had been cashed it was “one out, one in”

That’s a metaphorical cheque btw
:lol::lol::lol:
Fair one your grace.

seen this stat thrown around a lot recently, can't really see what relevance it has to our current situation. we have pretty much the same team, same system, same squad, same coaches and same manager as the second half of last season, so there is absolutely nothing to suggest that this coming season won't be anything different. unless i have missed something, or something is going to change drastically in the next two weeks
The only relevance is that the current situation is a mirror image of what happened at Alloa and St Mirren. Hope that helps.
