We’ve had no money available

Exactly, this place recently is getting shit.. Too many miserable bastards sniping at owners and each other if don't agree, we are on the verge of the best thing that's ever happened to the club should be having a party not arguing man!
I hear ya.

We seem to get our 5th-10th choices everytime, something isnt adding up here. The recruitment has been ok. Willis, McNulty and Dobson, we knew we needed 2 fullbacks, well why wasnt that targeted and sorted a long time ago. I dont see any structure to the scouting team, they should have young promising targets lined up for every position, but here we are again, f***ing last minute last choice. What the fuck is going on down there? The fact the manager cant figure out his best team doesnt bode well

We’ve signed a right back who we’re having to play at left back because we sold 2 of our left backs without a replacement and the left back we’re left with doesn’t seem much good and is a bit injury prone. Meaning we then need to continue playing a central midfielder out of position at right back like we did for most of last season.

it's not really pulled apart in this case. he basically said we have money to spend if we need a player. and now it turns out that despite have a pedestrian forward line and midfield for 40 games now, they can't bring anyone in and can only plug the left back issue with a loan.

then again if they were prepared to splash cash on Morgan Fox then maybe it's best of they don't waste their money with the current scouting team involved. they should start actually going to some league 2 games. Guarantee they'll unearth some jems as other teams do.
I’m not defending Donald. I just think he’s stupid saying stuff off the cuff in podcasts and then It coming back to bite him at a later date.

Latest podcast from RR is just a review on Burnley and Peterboro. It's bizarre there is not talk whatsoever over 100 mins about the takeover situation or the transfer window closing. Are they instructed by the club to not discuss ? Obviously the takeover is all quiet from the club til its done, so it could be considered a waste of air time, but the transfer deadline is surely worth discussing.

It’s poor like knocked it off after 20 minutes

Didn't we offer £750000 for a Scottish left back? That's a massive amount for a league one club..

The same lad who went for £3m? Not sure that can be considered a serious offer. Same shit the mags pull every transfer window. Remember their last minute “bid” for Kieran Richardson?

Tbh I think this is exactly why Donald just shouldn’t discuss transfers at all on the podcasts, it’s a no win situation. Everything he says is pulled apart to every detail.

It's not mere details, he talks utter shit. Like his namesake in the White House he just says or tweets whatever he thinks the person he's chatting with wants to hear. Or whatever he thinks will ingratiate himself with them.

Don't think he's bad owner or doing a bad job, like. But he is unequivocally a gobshite.

The Dellboy tag seems more fitting day by day

Typical Donald, says one thing does another. He hasn’t got any money. See Charlie boy gone quiet too. Waste of space the pair of them.
Obviously 'decent money' to him means as little as possible and certainly way below the market price. Once the takeover appeared on the horizon he appears to have decided to spend bugger all in the hope that the new owners will stump up funds

Pretty much. TBF from memory it was a good offer, but last minute in the deadline from your local rivals - never going to happen and they knew it.

You do wonder if they've learnt anything from the Grigg being available for £1m or less craic from January with this Taylor story, nevermind the naiveity of selling players before you replace them which we've done at left back again.

Every defender we have ever signed can play anywhere across the back 4, once I read this i panic

Roker Report are tweeting, Instagraming, Facebooking, Snapchating even smoke signals saying SD was misquoted.

How come they are only saying this now and not at the time when they were plastering it all over social media?
They are part of the Del Boy propaganda machine mate. They constantly stick up for him cos they are scared of losing the podcasts.
