WBA fan online abuse

I dunno, I think there is some massive benefit to anonymity online as well to be honest. "Powerful" people/corporations/ organisations/ governments etc. have faced the consequences of their actions because people have felt freed by anonymity to call them out. Or people just generally don't want people to know everything about them online. I don't know what the answer is if I'm honest.

I mean the Sheffield Wednesday fan was happy to do it in public, knowing that people would be taking pictures of him, knowing if would potentially go viral - so his name being online wouldn't have bothered him.
I hear you on the anonymity but in my head people could still make up screen names / dummy accounts etc. but if they are posting stuff that's illegal or offensive and get reported they can track down who it is.

You are right about government / freedom of speech / data security though.

Correct mate
The poster could easily use the dummy account in their own home which would pinpoint the IP address if they were going off their WIfi

We have all had ding dongs with each other on here and new posters etc.

Tell you what though ,the comment made was beyond crossing lines .

How on earth can you think it’s acceptable to make a comment like that .

Worse still , be of that thought processs.

Wow .

It's mental. The consequences of one post is a ban from your club and in the case of that Wednesday dickhead a criminal conviction. Imagine explaining that to a new bird/future employer, I got sacked/lost mates etc cos I thought that mocking a 6 year old cancer victim was good football banter.
Even if you are the type of bellend who thinks this is funny surely no one wants to deal with the consequences of it

Has the company comment been made public? Just yes or no. Please don't repeat it.

I don't mind a bit of needle that's close to the bone between fans but using 6 year olds who died with cancer? C'mon what kind of freak do you have to be to use that? Bradley lost the lottery of life but Bradley could have easily been your kid or my kid or in the future dickhead's kid who has just been arrested.

Hopefully Bradley's parents don't get upset about it and take it personal as it wasn't just some arsehole trying to score points on the internet. Probably someone in their teens or early 20's who will be ashamed of this as he matures and gets older.

This guy needs help, There's something not quite right in the old brain department 🤔
No he doesn't, he needs locking away, seems to be the way of the world but the people who need help don't get it and twisted little wankers get helped and understood
