Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will look to off-load as many as six players from the club’s lofty wage bill in the January transfer window, with Emmanuel Adebayor, Roque Santa Cruz, Jo, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Wayne Bridge and Shay Given all expected to leave. Given is attracting interest from a host of Premier League clubs, most notably Arsenal, Manchester United, Fulham, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, while Wayne Bridge is being linked with a move to Sunderland, West Ham United, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers. Roque Santa Cruz is wanted by former boss Mark Hughes, while Liverpool, Everton, Birmingham City and Aston Villa are considering a cut-price move for Shaun Wright-Phillips. Emmanuel Adebayor is being tracked by Real Madrid and Juventus and looks the most likely to be moved on, in a major clear out that could see the Eastlands club make a huge loss given then transfer fees and wages all of the aforementioned have amassed. I f***ing hope not. He's dross.

Gotta be bollocks. He's on about 90k a week I think, and I don't see how he'd get in the side ahead of Rico and Bardsley.

 Haway mate

But if City want to offload they will have to give sweeteners, nobody will pay Wayne Bridge £90k a week in the current climate.

How is he ? Terry shagged his lass not the other way round.

Perfect signing for us and probably him at this stage of his career. He's a good quality, natural left back he'd be playing every week.

Because he went into a big girly huff and sacked England off. When I say character, I mean strength of character. As I recall, Terry shagged his ex-lass, ridiculous reason to voluntarily finish your England career.

I'm serious. Bridge has been mediocre at best since moving to City. Like Gareth Barry, he's living off past reputation, and he must be about 30 now.

I honestly believe that, going by this season's form rather than past prejudices (i.e Bardsley is shite and Richardson will never make a left-back), we have two very solid premiership left-backs and it's not a position we particularly need to strengthen at the moment.

Poor defender, more one-footed than Heather Mills and will be on massive wages. No, thanks.

Hamish is playing well anyway at the moment. Also have Richardson and Adams is supposed to be very promising.

I'd hope not.
Decent player once, hasn't looked like being one for a while now.

He doesn't really fit into our transfer policy of buying young & hungry players either so would imagine it's shite anyway

I must admit I haven't seen Bridge play this year BUT if we could get him on decent wages he would be a big step up from Bardsley and Rico at left back. That's not denegrating what we have just in that position Bridge is much much better.

I'd hope not.

Agreed with this. But he would improve the squad without a doubt.

If we are going to sign a natural left back I'd say it would be better if we are looking for somebody younger than bridge but just as good. Problem is, Left Back is quite a hard position to fill.

he was also lending terry his house for him to bring other people for meets (allegedly notw)

Not a chance.

Even when he's fit, which is rare, he's nowhere near the player he was at Chelsea. We've already got an knackered left back who used to be decent, and we've loaned him out, we don't need another one.

I used to think left back, was a real problem area at the club, but Ricco and Bardo, have really stepped up to the plate, i.m.o.

Totally agree. Ad not let some slut cum between playing for me sunday team, never mind England. And a also think hes owa rated.

Both Bruce and Black were at the Man City, Birmingham match. I'm surprised no one posted the fact... or if they did I haven't seen it.

May have been watching a player?!
