Could be wrong here, but wasn't it the other leg the 2nd time, or at least, it wasn't a break down of the original injury, but a bad tackle.
Was the same injury marra

Another player who has remarkably turned into a fantastic footballer while been injured. However good luck to the lad as the hype on here will soon change if he struggles...

His dad said it wasn't a re-occurence though, just a freak accident - rather than it not being healed properly the first time, if you know what I mean?

"it was a freak accident second time around, not an inherent problem."

You're right that it was the exact same injury though

"the fact is that it is what they call a revision - i.e. an identical repeat injury - and it means he will be more cautious on return dates."

Well at least it wasn't because the surgery was botched. Horrible injury. I snapped my ACL in 1992 and can still here the noise it made

My cousin did his in a 50/50 with a keeper. His mam didn't believe him, and dragged him round the airshow the same afternoon.

He had a pot on from his ankle to his hip for about 3 months

I know it was a bad tackle marra, but I thought it was the same, leg. However I've been known to be wrong before;)

It was the same, aye. Sorry.

Just hope its nice and strong now. Really liked watching him play.
Aye, as the old saying goes, it will be like a new signing and if he's anywhere near as good as he was, a fantastic signing at this level:cool::cool::cool:

He was a good player before he got injured. Someone who held his own in the premier league. Think most people are just keeping their fingers crossed he's over his horrendous injuries and can rediscover some form for the second part of the season.

Don't get me wrong in like the lad but he's over rated to fuck on here.

Might be because he's been out a while but classic case of players getting better the less they play.
Or people just recognise and remember he was a good player before he got injured. Don't think people are overhyping him up at all. The ones saying otherwise are probably the ones who didn't rate him to start with.

I remember reading that he scored 4 goals in 49 games for us, hes not a world beater by no means but his energy and running in behind cause issues for opposing defenses.

Agreed. I hope I am proven wrong but he had the worst ball control of any player I've ever seen, aside from maybe James Lawrence back in the 90s.
