Players like him try things, some look good some look horrendous

it was the same with Johnson

You have to have players who take risks and try and create something, and that involves risking losing the ball, otherwise you have a team full of players who play it safe and take no responsibility.

Watmore could be a major asset for us.

IMO he attracts criticism because he cases lost causes, will accept the ball in any situation and gets too far ahead of any support.

If the rest of the attack, particularly Grigg, can switch onto his runs they could pick up a lot of goals.

I'm hoping that his directness compensates for any technical inadequacies. Him running at big, slow CBs might prove fruitful.
