Not as bad as another Costner film The Postman. All it has going for it really

Give over, The Postman is an awesome movie! Up there with Costner's best IMO.

It wasn't a flop.

Decent if overly sugary romp. Hollywood, Dennis Hopper makes for a fun bad guy which always makes a decent watch. take your brain out, get the popcorn in and enjoy is what I say.
A few minutes of Tom Petty at the end didn't disguise that The Postman which, on a similar apocalyptic theme came afterwards was considerably more dire. Says a lot that Tom Petty was the best turn in it.

I couldn't fathom out the plot but at times very shallow. I think the director was thrown in at the deep end. Probably ended up in hot water with the producers
Flooded with money but the film went down the drain.
If you want to sea it there's a stream on the net.

I have never seen this film but I have been told its a good film, what puts me of is the film is a box office flop and is down as one of the worst movies of all time, should I watch it?
