Seems to be Michael Vaughan, Ricky Ponting, Geoffrey Boycott, Graeme Swann, Damien Fleming, Adam Gilchrist and Alison Mitchell. :confused:
 
Here's a fundamental question. Does the First Test start Wednesday night going into Thursday or Thursday going into Friday? I just want to make sure to book the right day off for leave.

1st test is the 23rd to 27th November, so it'll be Wed Night/Thur Morning for us in the UK

Sadly, the terrestrial TV companies can’t compete with the pay TV companies. The ECB have to consider the funding of the grass roots game and TV money is used to get programs like All Star Cricket off the ground and that, fingers crossed, will help bring a new generation of cricketers into the game. I don’t blame the ECB at all for selling the rights to highest bidder.

For me, the government should intervene. The Ashes (particularly the home series) and T20 World Cup should be alongside other sporting events like Wimbledon, the Euros, the World Cup, the Rugby World Cup and the Olympics that have to be available on free to air.

The FTECB sold its soul to Sky in 2005. It has been paid an absolute fortune since and that money hasn’t found itself to grass roots cricket. It’s sat in a bank that the FTECB won’t be distributed to anyone.
The problem we all face is there are many many kids who don’t know what cricket is. They’ve never seen it on their TV’s.
Not knocking The All Stars format but feel it’s too little to late.

It's a good point you make, but I severely doubt FTECB give an actual toss about grassroots cricket.
