Aye. I didn’t think it was such a daft comment by the OP to be fair, the reason being that if the standard of goalkeeping is so demonstrably poor in the division, then we have a distinct and important advantage with the current guy. Watching him against Luton he looked very assured indeed. He could be worth a lot of points to us this season and make up for other deficiencies in the team. Let’s hope we can keep him fit (although Ruiter probably wouldn’t do too bad a short term job in League 1).Great having a keeper who just collects the ball from crosses easily.
A solid goalkeeer option. Reminds me a bit of how Fulop was for us.
