Aye. I didn’t think it was such a daft comment by the OP to be fair, the reason being that if the standard of goalkeeping is so demonstrably poor in the division, then we have a distinct and important advantage with the current guy. Watching him against Luton he looked very assured indeed. He could be worth a lot of points to us this season and make up for other deficiencies in the team. Let’s hope we can keep him fit (although Ruiter probably wouldn’t do too bad a short term job in League 1).

I wondered what happened to Fulop after he left us - he's dead, died of cancer in 2015. I never knew.

I watched the EFL highlights and I must have blinked because I missed our bit and had to rewind.

I don't think we have anything to worry about.

TBH the Luton game was awful to watch. We shouldn't kid ourselves, this is the standard we are at.

Fully agree...it’s light years away from the performances against Chelsea and Everton just over two years ago. As you say though that’s the level we are at.

We had a difficult first half against Charlton but finished well.

We controlled the game against Luton and would have won comfortably if we had taken our chances.

Hopefully a new striker will sort that out.
