However this demo looks superb. As long as the games match the early promise I think I'll be getting this day 1.

Edit: Bloody predictive text! Haha.

I have to admit, it looks really good and intuitive.

I'm thinking about getting a PS3 more because of it, actually. Which games would you get for it though?

Seeing the Kinect range of games on launch leaves a bit to be desired imo.

Just been looking and they are bringing out the usual sport games which will be like the wii. But the are releasing res evil versions

Killzone 3, tiger woods etc. Ruse is a new war rts which there's a demo on psn store and it looks and plays really well.

So it's just the Wii with a camera to add additional tracking?

Can't say I'm excited by this one bit. Gimmicky controllers (Wii, Kinect, Move) just don't do it for me like. It seems to actively encourage developers to put funding into thoughtless shit minigames more than owt else.

Heavy Rain DLC for example, was postponed indefinitely so the developers could add move support...

It's not everyones taste I know but I like it. Plus heavy rains controls couldn't be worse

Are there any good real games for the Wii? Not bowling or archery, proper games?

It looks like one more gimmick to me, a more accurate gimmick, but a gimmick al the same

Its better than wii motion and wii motion plus as wii doesnt know where you are in a 3d space where as move does. It also has the abilty to track your head and body and your voice like kinect does on 360. Move is looking like the best of all three motion controls.

Move doesn't. the PS Eye does. The two work in combination, but the Wii could add a camera for 3D space tracking if Nintendo thought neccessary. Move is basically a less-intelligent Kinect (in software, not users) - requiring a controller to assist. However, the addition of the controller also gives the user more options as it opens a lot more possibilities that Kinect isn't suited for.

That however takes the attention away from the fact motion games are gimmicky and shite . I couldn't see myself wanting to play FIFA, Forza, Gran Turismo, Fallout, Mass Effect, Call of Duty etc with motion controllers as opposed to standard controllers or proper specialist controllers like Racing Wheels etc. I can see how they appeal to the more casual gamers, but most people I know who bought a Wii rarely use it due to the saturated market full of poorly made sport and on-rails games released.

The eye is part of the move, as the ir is of the wii. The fact kinect cant pick up say finger movements means it wont ever be able to replacate the pinpoint movements like wii and move can. I can see the motion being good for games but also cant see myself playing halo or cod with any of them alough there pushing it with kz3 and socom so ill give it a try.

The PS Eye was already a Playstation component. Move is a separate controller which requires the PS Eye to fully function. ;)

They should probably focus more on the core gameplay in Killzone rather than the Move mind. The last one bored the bollocks off me regardless of how immense it looked

Go it and sport champions, disc golf is addictive as fook ! :)
