Washing machine inlet filter alternative

Our washing machine sits under a work surface in the utility area of our kitchen. It was a filter on the inlet valve. Getting to the valve is a right pain.

Is there a filter I can fit between the tap under the sink and the end of the hose that currently connects to the tap. It will be a lot easier to clean a filter there than pulling out a heavy machine.

Never seen a filter on the inlet.

Can you relocate the filter you already have?

I've come across this Compression Inline Y Filter 15mm which will probably do the trick.

Just put a screen in the other end of the hose(tap end).

Honestly never even looked.

I’d remove it and put a limescale filter on the inlet at the tap.

Why not turn the machine around to face the other way. That will make accessing the filter much easier.....
