Was it a penalty?

We can't twist if Italy get a dodgy penalty on Sunday as we wouldn't be playing them if it wasn't for our dodgy penalty last night.

If it had been given against Sunderland I'd have been somewhat less than gruntled and possibly uttering utterances to the utter rotter of a referee. One of those where if it's given or not, VAR wouldn't overturn the decision either way. Unlike Michael Owen's against Argentina in '98 and '02 which were clear dives.

How many shite decisions have cost us owa the years? We will be definitely twisting if they get a dodgy one

There was contact but nowhere near enough to make a player hit the deck like that. Clear dive but letter of the law and all that.

How do you know we wouldn’t be playing them?

what a daft thing to say, cheer up man🤷‍♂️

The defender knew what he was doing. No attempt to play the ball, just ran into his hip to throw him off balance. No player could've stayed on his feet in that situation.

The Danes wouldnt have taken the lead if they werent given 2 soft free kicks.

Soft penalty agreed but Italy is a completely different game

Give it a rest man ffs.

Was it shite, I’d have been fuming if that was against us. However I’ll take it and hope we win with another one on Sunday and the masters of cheating are hoist by their own petard.

It was never a penalty and I thought we were diving about the pitch most of the night. Who cares you say, but it amused me how much the Media went after Immobile(Italy) and its rather a bit hypocritical from us to at least not admit the truth.

As a fan whose seen my own club suffer from the football gods and I'm merely concerned that we've ridden a lot of luck this tournament and last night was no exception.

On another day it would have been okay in but Denmark shouldn’t have got the free kick they scored from so that’s even.
