Was it a penalty?

Three minor touches that amounted to enough for a pen for me.
Each one on their own probably wasn't, but together three guys missed tackles and touched Sterling; he was off balance so went to ground.

Aye and nor. We had a shout earlier that wasn’t given and var couldn’t claim it was an obvious error, so when that was given even though it was more questionable! I knew it wouldn’t be overturned.

Can not believe people think that should of been a penalty.
It was NEVER a penalty but the amount of things that have went against us over the years I think we were due a bit of luck.

Nivver in a million years. Doubted it immediately. I’d hate to ever be as blinded by pig ignorant faux patriotism that I was still posting on here that it was a penalty after even one (1) replay. Shame on anyone who is.

I think you've settled your opinion too hard after the first slow motion shot they showed.

From the first slow motion shot ITV showed, it was not a penalty. A lot of people, very very high proportion, are pained at the thought of changing their mind.

But the second, third slow motions, plus all other angles, showed a clear penalty.

This is a beautiful chance for people to realise being wrong initially isn't a problem and that they're able to change their minds on the basis of additional evidence, with no physical or emotional pain.

Nee penna
Strangely I didnt really celebrate at the final whistle like I did the last 2 games.
Quite a lot of embarrassing falling over.
Didn't have the same euphoria as after the last two games and you're right it was down to a less clean game and not really being in control.
