Was it a penalty?

Yes .. He got clipped ... I think so, the referee thought so and so did the in studio referee(Peter Walton )

If someone's about to score a goal and a ball gets rolled onto the pitch at the other end, should play be stopped?

They run right past the other ball on the pitch though…
Shoked that cards were 1 per team.
Mcguire got booked for trying to score a header and another ref would have carded six or seven of them!

The ref set the tone for Denmark in the first 30 seconds.

Sterling broke away and was dragged back, usually a yellow card. Not even a word, so Denmark just kept doing it and didn’t get punished for it once. Paulsen did it 4 times…

Never a penalty. If you condone it don't complain the next time we lose because of a dive in the box.
The only time I would condone it would be if it was against the scum. 🤣

if you honestly cannot see his right leg clipped then secondly a bigger impact from Jensen on his left then you must deliberately not seeing it. Neither defender touched the ball but both made an impact on him whilst running. Clear as day.

its a penalty all day long.
Its basically this. Nobody could've stayed on their feet in this scenario.

By today's standards it was. Two players didn't touch the ball and clipped Sterling in the box.

I mean it was soft but then so was the challenge for the Danish free kick they scored from, so was the challenge Kane did before he should have been awarded a penalty in normal time.

Football is soft these days so if you mistimed a challenge then should expect it to be a foul.

How can anyone say that wasn’t a penalty man both challenges were fouls they got none of the ball smacked him in the knee then other one just ran into him and sent him over it wasn’t possible to win the ball . Was another incident before he went past someone and they shoved him in the back into someone infront as well

I agree mate. You might be teetering on the edge of a cliff and looking as if you are going to fall but if come along and give you a shove just to make sure that you do I am as guilty as hell.

It all happened in a micro second Jensen was on course & had the clear intention of whacking Sterling. It was his hard lines if in that instant Sterling was just about to dive - because no one will ever get the opportunity of finding that out for certain as Jensen gave him every assistance to make sure that he went down anyway.

Clear Penalty.

Initially I thought that it wasn't a penalty, but after watching that angle on the replay, the ref was 100% right, definitely a pen, and justice was done.
