Was Dariusz Kubicki any good?

John Kay the best canoeist in wearside
I used to go and watch them train at Whitburn when he was recovering with his broken leg. I think Benno was injured at the same time. I would bring my dog an they would wander over to chat. Nice lads

He would be slated now I agree,., as would makin and kay. Not good enough going forward. Oddly Bardsley gets slated aswell (before he was a casino £50 note bell end) but he is better than kubicki.

Kubicki was a canny player though.

Makin was good going forward though... Aside from his shooting. He's the only permanent right back we've had who may have been better than bardo. I doubt johnny kay would even make the grade as a professional footballer nowadays. Certainly not in the top two divisions!

I loved him at the time as well

Darius never took risks and was very dependable, we could do with a bit of that right now. As far as right backs go i thought Steve witworth was the best Right back that ive seen in a sunderland shirt

Can't believe any fan gives a fuck about whether he got the record or not. He shouldn't have been dropped for Hall because Hall was shit. That's the only reason though.

Model pro/player, just got on with his job, nothing fancy but totally reliable and very fast. Very, very few managed to do him on the outside. I'd love to have him now.

Decent player. Good servant. Solid without being spectacular.

He was very, very good but we being SAFC stitched him up a treat due to the fact that if he'd played one more game we would have had to give his former club some cash if I remember correctly. If I am correct then we have made some f***ing ricks in my time supporting this lot. Dad! Why didn't you like football so you have guided me to watching a club who would not fail me for 50 odd f***ing years so I could have stayed with Blaydon Casuals or Bleach Green Juniors.

You don't. Whether Reid knew and was being spiteful or whether he didn't and just preferred Hall, he did make stupid decisions like that every now and again, we'll never know.
