Battleground. It never gets a mention although lord knows why.

The original Battle of the Bulge film and the best one. In grainy b/w, made in 1949 it's unusual for its time that it's not a 'hero' or 'propaganda' film - every one of the cast considers desertion at some point.

Turn the heating up though when you watch it because it just feels cold.
