EEK , weirdly I would have the same problem with my overstairs / landing area that is so dangerous I couldn't attempt to do it myself (think there would need to be some kind of internal scaffolding set up ).

You can do it yourself if you buy a combi ladder. It's a bit scary like and I was paranoid in case I fell off
