Walking routes/locations in or near Sunderland?

Penshaw monument up and ower the back through the woods down towards the golf club , through the style down to river, turn right and go all the way along til you get to a white house. Take
The steps before up to the old lines then either go right along the lines back towards the monument or you can go left then right up to Offerton and through Offerton then the field back to the monument

Used to do this one with my dog all the time

Park up down Hendon behind tanks, plenty of parking space, and walk along cliff tops all the way to Seaham , come back same route.

Up Seaburn dene, past AoL, over the road, under the metro bridge, up to the quarry, do a circle to Witherwack, then Fulwell Mill. Down Sea Road for a pint in the Blue Bell. You can always do a little detour to Fountains chippy for a bag of chips anarl en-route.

We’ve said it loads that we’d love to live there or the one a few paces up the road. Class place to reside imo.
