I'd rather give Maja and Asoro a go rather than bring in Waghorn.
News at Rangers end that it's a done deal, hope to god not.
Have you ever seen him play? He's what seems to be described as a number 10 nowadays. A poor mans Dalglish/Beadesley/Bergkamp who knows where the goal is. He drops deep looking for the ball. I saw him playing for Fulham regularly and he never led the line. He knitted everything together for em between Parker and whoever played as the out n out forward which was Celtics Dembele a couple of times. They were a physical precense which allowed us to play a direct game. Waghorn is a lot like Vaughan, a strong lad who's scored goals in a shite league and will be busy and a handful without scoring many at this level, just like Vaughan. McCormack is a number 9, someone who can potentially grab you 20 goals.
Overly negativeAnd you being overly negative
Depending on the fee, it could be a decent signing. 12 goals for Leicester when he was given a good run at this level.
Wouldn't pay money for him. Not what we need. Id prefer McCormack. He offers something differentNews at Rangers end that it's a done deal, hope to god not.
Strange board this, last season the club/manager got grief for not bringing anyone in to support Defoe other than an obviously unfit Anichebe, this season it appears that Grayson is making sure we aren't left short come injuries and suspensions and he/the club get grief?
I cant see him offering anything different or better than Gooch.Would imo be an absolutely pointless signing given he offers nothing different from what's already here.
What a strange thing to say. Everyone loved pickford. Because he was local, and class.everyone hates a local lad, for some reason.

Pickford was actually very raw when he was given his chance and well supported.not everyone, but he was more popular than henderson or pissbiscuit or many others.
bit different though when a player has proved himself as class rather than just actually backing them when they are young and still developing.

No. Mcormack plays as a number 10. Nowhere has he ever been a target man. As for Vaughan, he spent all game on his arse looking for a free kick. They were a physical precense which allowed us to play a direct game.
