Waghorn

If it is Grayson's idea, he has no idea. Way, way, way out of his depth. He will not last long here, two months time and no wins will see to that. Nothing worse than being promoted above your ability.

Rather sign nobody than get players like this. Best thing is we can probably only afford him if lens leaves

He wouldn't bring anything new to the party. Another who would graft and is a strong lad but we have that in Vaughan and Grabban. McCormack is an experienced goal scorer, yes, Hugill can hold it up and knock in headers, yes, Waghorn, definitely not.

I thought he was 6'3" for some reason, he obviously isn't. Don't know what he can do that Vaughan/Grabban can't, and wouldn't want him to get injury fill-ins/sub appearances ahead of the youngsters.

I wonder if he thinks getting more local lads in the dressing room is what it needs. As Steele n Waghorn deals are strange

If it's true I'd imagine that's spot on. Grayson is beating the drum about getting the right characters in the dressing room and having players who want to give everything for the club - ignoring everything else then Waghorn does tick that box.
