I disagree.People generally have more time on Saturdays. So meeting up elsewhere is easier. Night matches most supporters get into the vicinity of the ground only a couple of hours before KO. Easier to meet up at pub near ground in those circumstances.

They are.Was replying to a lad coming on train from Sutton going to Witton asking about pubs.Just think better off staying on train extra 5 mins and going to centre. If I was arriving in birmingham 2 hours before kick off I certainly wouldn't be heading to pubs around ground.Sounds like the pubs near the ground are pretty shocking tbf.

The last time, there was a load of us in Broad Street.
Numerous pubs including a couple of 'Spoons, A Yates, Walkabout and plenty other bars (And food places).
How long's a taxi take, in Match-Traffic?
Train is 10 min journey.
Every half hour.
About £3 return iirc ...
And one leaves, I think at about 7:17 (arr 7:27)?
Witton Station, 10 mins max walk to the away end of ground.

I may be wrong but I'm sure alcohol isn't sold inside villa park, or at least not in the away end
