They are rattled to fuck like, just watch this weekend if they win and go above us before we play on monday this board will be infested by the ***** again saying mind the gap etc.

Normally 4 of us share cost of return taxi to peterlee, I am the only one who can go on Monday so £50 ish is too much to pay for a taxi.
I don't know what to do now:neutral:

where do you need to be from peterlee? We be driving past on our way down about dinner time, if I can help I will? Theres one seat left in me daddy bus
6 of us

Haven't discussed with my numpties who are travelling with you yet but I imagine we'll just meet up in the Witton Arms (previously aka Cap & Gown) on Witton Road. It's a bit shit and you have to pay a couple of quid to get in but it is convenient for a monday night game. I've given them their tickets - although as their aggregate IQ is still sub-Bud the Horse I probably still need to guide them from pub to ground.

Isn't the train station on witton road? On another thread it's recommended to get the train in from Sutton Coldfield, so I looked it up n it looks a good idea, even better if pub is near train station near the ground

Aye.

If you do that you'd walk past the Witton Arms to get to the ground.

Think the train from SC stops at Aston, not Witton.
There's a pub over the road, but it looks a good 20 min walk to Villa Park from there.

I am driving down and first time to ground

Any decent parking places?

Yes, the Sutton Coldfield train stops at Aston. But then you can hop on another train up to Witton.

I have never tried the pub opposite Aston station - but all the pubs that close to Villa Park tend to be home only. The Witton Arms is an exception. The Yew Tree that SM mentioned above is canny - but is tucked a bit further away.
