Vieira gone from Palace

Just a hypothetical question but anyone who has a better understanding of his record and style as manager take Viera for us?

Yeah I noticed that - couldn't get in the squad when they were doing well, now Palace can barely win a corner he's in 🤷‍♂️
I overstated it for the point, because Anderson next to him seems a lot better, but ya get the drift
He's weird SouthLate. Weird

Meanwhile, behind the 'no win in 12' headlines:
Palace are 12th.
They lost 7 games, all by 1 goal, all
against teams above them.
They drew 5, all against teams above them (Mag's, Man Utd, Liverpool, Brentford Brighton)
Palace have 9 games left, 7 against teams below them and Zaha returning from injury.
Jordan has taken the easy decision and they will probably stay up this season but they would have stayed up with Vierra in charge.

Simon Jordan

He’s had French citizenship from birth. He lived in France from the age of 8. He has 100+ caps for France

I think Patrick would make an interesting subject on Who Do You Think You Are?

His mother was from Cape Verde, his surname name has Portuguese origins. He was born in Senegal. Quite a mixed bag. He only had French citizenship as his Granddad served in the French army.

He had a choice of who he wanted to play for internationally France or Senegal and chose France which is fair enough, he lived there from the age of 8.

We live in a transient world these days, nationality is not the concept it was

To say he isn’t French was basically bullshit.

My mate was born in Germany when his dad was in the Army over there. Must make him German does it?
That's the precise criteria which usually does in most cases.

I take it they moved almost instantaneously and he feels no fellowship to the Erics?

They speak French in Senegal, he lived in France from 8 until he was 19, his formative years. He played for France and obviously feels French despite living all around the world; Italy, England and USA for large parts of his life.

However, he's probably proud of his background too.
