Vieira gone from Palace

12th? Did they start the season well and turn to shit?
Only five points of bottom, haven't won a game in 17 matches, haven't had a shot on goal in the last 3.

It seems a bit harsh but that is horrific form and the owners will be getting jittery about the relegation fight ahead, especially now the bottom teams seem to be picking up random points.

The thought of our young guns going into that league terrifies me.I think we signed all of them under 20? Need a couple of years at least surely/shirley.

Important point made by the BBC in their article. No black managers now in the PL.

So what? Should clubs just persevere with crap managers to meet some random quota. If he was any good he's still be in a job.
They haven’t won in twelve.

Never had one shot on target in the three games before Brighton.

I find it interesting. There are loads of black players but that doesn’t translate to managers. There’s presumably a deficit of opportunities for black managers. Why that might be I don’t know. There are probably a lot of talented black managers who aren’t getting or taking opportunities

I don't think they're suggesting that, don't get yourself all worked up over nothing.

Who? The vast majority of ex-players across the board leave football altogether once they finish playing.

As if any chairman or owner is going to turn down success based on a perceived bias.

Most managers in the PL are white. Most (I think) managers are ex players. Loads of players in the PL are black. Black people are clearly underrepresented as football managers. It’s not really a debatable point. Whether it interests you or you think it’s important or you want to think about why that might be is a secondary point
