I swear everyone was saying all the same things about pienaar....if you were to start a thread asking for everyone's team very Everton he'd be in it....let's give everyone a chance before bloody moaning...

Can't be any worse than N'doye, which is what we had for half a season last time. Can't remember people getting into meltdown mode when we only really had Defoe then like they are now. Although tbf, Borini was available then.

Fuck that big lummock...play the boy.
I'd agree. However, a good squad balance for a club that plays one up front would be to have a recognised first choice, a young talent (perhaps two) backing him up and a big lump who doesn't really expect to start and who is there to mix things up towards the end of games. Anichebe could do that role IMO and I was of that opinion back when allardyce was here too tbh. If he fulfilled that role he could be useful for more than just a one season stopgap.

Moyes will know most of the ins and outs of what's gone on and why Anichebe has ended up out of contract.

I don't see Bendtner as a Moyes type of player so would be very surprised to see him back even though him and Defoe could have a field day if they both performd
Bendtner looks fat as fuck now, he's the spitting dabs of Gérard Depardieu.

He's a big f***ing lump and he's absolutely shit as he has proven over a career where he has achieved the square root of fuck all. If we want a big burly lad up front as a last throw of the dice option I'd sooner we chucked a f***ing contract at akinfenwa and sent him on to kill the oposition centre halfs

No problem with that - remember the outcry on here after we signed Pienaar. He would be a 3 month stop gap and Moyes would know how to get the best out of him. Not ideal but a sensible move.

The lads played 180 odd premier league games and for Nigeria. He's far from prolific but could do a job.

Would take Anichebe AND Odemwingie in a heartbeat in the current situation. 1 year deals. Just to change it up in later part of games depending on what's happening and also, God forbid, JD is out for any length of time!! They aren't gonna get into double figures but they have at least played in and have experience of the PL for 'not great teams':lol:.

He's always looked dangerous when I've seen him- especially against us. Get him in, he's only 28, thought he was Defoe's age.
