Very good window

How much have you seen of Dobson?
Not much, but @toosb claims he comes from good stock & he's likely to be one of our best midfielders I reckon. Walsall were crap like but he was their star player, so he could be the intended replacement for Catts. Too good for league 2, adds something different, makes a lot of sense.

Maybe search the threads at the time. For me I have no issue with him as Captain, never stops grafting, great pro, represents the club really well.......

I love the way this place rewrites history, half way through last season people started banging on about why Catts wasnt captain over Honeyman, conveniently forgetting that virtually everyone had slaughtered him in the summer and wanted him gone.

Maybe search the threads at the end of the January window when people were claiming we'd played a blinder there too.

Like many others, I'm waiting to see what our new players are actually like before declaring it a successful window.

Not sure you could question effort or leadership even if you can question his quality.

What makes Honeyman a good leader?

Don’t think everything has been addressed still worried our midfield will be bullied far too easily out of games. Then we haven’t really replaced Morgan and think we needed 2 CHs not just 1

Pretty much all the areas of concern from last season addressed and Ross looks to be recruiting some strong characters too. On top of that McGeady and Mclaughlin signed new deals and the likes of Embleton also penned new deal.

Just as importantly though we have moved on

Catts, Love, Ruiter, Matthews, Oviedo (hopefully).

That is all those on Prem money now gone barring Watmore and we look to have recruited well too. Cannot wait till a week on Saturday now.

Haway the Lads.

*doh, need to hang on to J Mac, thought he had signed an extension already.

How the hell do you know?

This lad is desperate to be seen as a positive supporter. Sadly his dream of one day telling everyone he told us so will never happen. We’re shit and well still be shit when we’re on our deathbeds. Why not just say what you really feel which is we haven’t a f***ing clue what’ll happen but we hope it’ll be alright. Life is too short for pretending to be something you aren’t.

Honestly man, would have thought you'd have learnt your lesson after January.

People are saying players are good signings based on seeing them play of maximum of 1 or 2 games it’s ridiculous

Yep. It's one thing I don't get about this place. I'm sure some just decide they want a "persona" and are determined to live up to it. How anyone can be massively confident about our signings when hardly anyone has watched any of them play more than 3 or 4 times is beyond me (and to be fair if I watched Millwall I seriously doubt I'd be able to comment on their right back unless he did something spectacularly good or bad). Then you get the opposite who are determined to be negative about every signing and everything the club does. I think in real life most fans want to be positive but sometimes get frustrated and a bit negative, and most will wait and see regarding players they know nowt about before proclaiming a window a success or failure

Morgan was shite and we already had better in our squad in Gooch

Morgan is better than Gooch imo and will go on to have a much better career
Morgan is weak as piss. Gooch is better

I bet Willis is over the moon to have your guarantee.

Gooch was shite for the majority of last season...hopefully he recaptures his early season form this season.
Very good first quarter of last season. Hopefully full season of that form
