Very good window

Pretty much all the areas of concern from last season addressed and Ross looks to be recruiting some strong characters too. On top of that McGeady and Mclaughlin signed new deals and the likes of Embleton also penned new deal.

Just as importantly though we have moved on

Catts, Love, Ruiter, Matthews, Oviedo (hopefully).

That is all those on Prem money now gone barring Watmore and we look to have recruited well too. Cannot wait till a week on Saturday now.

Haway the Lads.

*doh, need to hang on to J Mac, thought he had signed an extension already.

Squad looks alright, hope we're not saying easily bullied again this year though. We don't look anymore imposing at that point personnel wise. You come up against like wankers like Wycombe who know they can just be direct and physical. Lincoln coming up are abit similar.

We'll add afew loanees and afew will go. Obviously Oviedo will go, I'm expecting Baldwin & McGeough to go too. Maybe another 1-2 depending on demand.

Squad is good enough regardless, some quality players in there just up to the manager to get them playing well for 90 minutes. Was the issue last year, it wasn't squad personnel.

We will be very weak at LB if Oviedo goes. That position will definitely need strengthening

I would also like us to sign a big strong and dominant CB

I'd rather wait and see them play before claiming everything has been addressed

Agreed. I'm quite happy, the new lads sound decent, but being honest I can't remember watching any of them (I'd heard of McNulty but couldn't have told you anything other than the fact he's a Scottish striker) so I'd struggle to be overly confident, I'd just say I'm optimistic. In theory bringing Leadbitter, Grigg, a tall decent prospect centre back and a quick winger who had worked with Ross before and done well enough to earn a move to Celtic sounded great, thought we'd kick on and go up, instead we looked pretty poor from the minute Maja left. Just need to see how they get on, not long to wait so no need to rush to judgment, I'll judge the window by about October!

I imagine most are like me and haven't a clue about these new lads. I'll wait and see before deciding whether or not it's been a good window
Aye I'll wait until the first couple of games before deciding if the transfer window has been successful. Haven't heard of any of these new lads so let's see how they get on.
