I like him, reminds me of an Italian fullback, tall and good on the ball, think he will get better too with more games

Similar style to Paolo Maldini. Being saying it for weeks.
Considering his nightmarish form when he started and how little time he's had to settle and/or get a run of games, he's done outstandingly well. Big fan.

Given that he looked like he'd never played as a defender just a few weeks ago he's been a bit of a revelation. I thought he looked decent with the ball even when he looked comically awful at important defending skills like tackling! It seems he's the opposite of Noz- decent with a little more time with the ball as opposed to being quick and competitive but useless with the ball if given time to think.

For the money he's available for he could be an excellent signing, as would Alonso. Would, ideally, bring in competition for both in those positions though. Possibly look at Creswell at Ipswich and consider giving Bardsley another year or two?

All those saying Vergini looked like he'd nivver played the game until the last few weeks seem to be forgetting the poor bastard was alongside John OFuckinShea until he was shifted to RB. OSheas done for Roberge, Diakite and Cuellar anarl. Wes Browns got 15yrs head start on the lot of them in the playing alongside OShea lark and he looks like he couldnt find his own arse in the dark at times while doing it.
Id love to fast forward through next season when he'll be gone. Probably.

Talking shite man. O'Shea is a million times better than Cuellar.

As for Roberge, it's hardly O'Shea's fault that Roberge is shit at defending set-pieces. Bar that, Roberge has done okay. Think his disappearance is a bit odd tbh, thought he'd be the kind of player Gus would like. Would be okay at left-back imo.

Not convinced personally.

Done well at right back but not a right back.
Looks shaky at centre back and I would be worried if he was 1st choice there next season.

But despite all that £800k is nowt these days so at price he would certainly make a flexible squad player.

Just the money from a couple of thousand season tickets, then.

It's a no from me. I don't think he's a player. I've been watching SAFC for over 50 years, and not once have I ever had to admit that I got it wrong, and a player that I had written off turned out to be any good.

I hope I'm wrong this time.

I was thinking more of a right fullback, like tassotti
