Surely you don't write off a player in the first competitive game.
On about a confidence boost. Still no different to many of our lot.
Give him at least 10 games to make the step up.

Mate you have posted on here for a good while, that is exactly what happens with a significant minority of our support.....In fact they often dont need a whole game to write someone off; Kirchoff was judged on a 10 minute substitute appearance (where he played at centre back rather than midfield) and was absolutely destroyed on there.......He then spent the next 5 months saving us from the drop......Our fan base just loves to moan tbh.

The re
Some massive fannies like. Did well for me, as did most of the team, just ran out of steam. People on the SMB, love to hate us.
The real fannies are those who praise mediocrity, they haven't got the balls to look at the true picture and citicise the faults.

In regards of a goal threat I thought he did well as can be expected with the service he got. I also think he was actually more effective than Grabban at forcing the centre halves into making passes they necessarily didn't want to make which allowed us to pick up a lot of loose passes in midfield and get them on the back foot. The lad's working his nuts off for the shirt, I'm happy to give him a break. He will look a different player once he gets a goal.

I see he was Marco's MotM. That's overdoing it, but he did out in a shift. This is really helpful when it comes to stopping teams playing from the back.

gotta give him time at least he's working hard. Fletcher was a better striker but couldn't be arsed. Thought he made space for himself well and was unlucky with the shot that just went past the post. If he keeps going like he did the goals will come. Can see him getting 15 goals a season.

Nothing he showed tonight has changed my mind. f***ing dross.

I'd be inclined to wait a few months before writing him off.

You're clearly a much more astute judge than I, so you get on down there and boo him til your lungs are hanging out on your chin

That'll show the lad, coming up here trying to win footy games for us, the cheeky tw*t

I think he looks poor like, especially when compared to his predecessor. But I think the lad will have his uses. He appears to have a good attitude and puts himself about so has the makings of a decent squad player but we absolutely cannot end the window with him as our main striker.
