he works hard and never stops running, needs a goal to settle down. we need another striker though as not confident in Vaughan scoring the number's we'll need to get near the playoffs (that'll be a big ask anyway)

Should be a bit of a cult hero. Already waiting for the first deflected goal, the first red card and the first successful dive in the penalty area

I'm under no illusions that he's not going to score 20+ or anything, but he was signed for half a million from League One so I don't expect him to.

I thought he was canny tonight. Worked his bollocks off, went close with a chance, created space with his movement, linked well with Grabban. He also gets in the oppositions faces and plays like someone who thinks he has won the lottery by signing for a club the size of ours.

You can't really win on here it seems. All we've heard for the last year is how people can't wait to get rid of the mercenaries and would be happy with someone who will just graft for the shirt. Vaughan is precisely that. Give him a break.

Meant to add its too early to write him off!
I found it a bit painful thinking of Defoe tonight I must admit!

Aye, I thought the same thing. He'd have had three in the bag tonight. Not enough composure in our forwards, hopefully confidence will grow and it will come.

we simply need better than him if we are to prosper give me a lazy CF who knocks in 15 a season rather than a duracell bunny who doesnt
Ubers wont like it mind they measure quality in 'shifts' ffs:rolleyes::lol:

He did what we were hoping for - kicked the corner flag.

Funny how we all see players differently, I thought he won more than was expected in the air against a big, experienced centre back, he grafted his arse off and just needs a goal to stop him snatching at chances. All in all a good performance and plenty to build on.

Grafts his arse off and is very good playing with his back to goal. He's by no means a world beater but I'd much rather have lads like him playing for the shirt than supposed better players who couldn't give a monkeys. The lad tries his heart out, and hopefully the goals will come.

Not sure what people are really expecting when he cost around 700k! If he was as good as folk on here think he should be then we wouldn't have been able to afford him!...f***ing get real!

The lad worked hard and put himself about,I do think he would have benefited more if Khazri had been playing.
