Guinness Guzzler
Striker
I like him and I think he'll score a few. We can't rely on him like we did with Defoe of course, others need to chip in and we need another striker as an option but I think he'll do fine here

He plays a lot of the game with his back to goal tussling with defenders. There was one occasion he was running towards goal chasing a ball and whilst not really quick he didn't seem slow, which I'd assumed he probably would be.
Forwards who work their bollocks off are very valuable however not being able watch any games i wonder if any of the more astute posters can tell me.He can huff and puff all day long. But it already looks like the lad is not up to the job
Teams in the premier league are more concerned about not getting beat. Don't get me wrong I would rather be in that league no doubt about it, but although the championship lacks quality it's canny entertaining.Playing like that, we'd have stayed up last season funnily enough![]()
Changed your mind? After one game and an opinion based on some highlight footage from pre season?Nothing he showed tonight has changed my mind. f***ing dross.

He's already missed two penalties. Start worrying now. He's not very good.
Excellent work rate and attitude and needs a goal.
Where have we heard that before
We're in for another striker so, let's wait and see what side we have after the window shuts.
I'm under no illusions that he's not going to score 20+ or anything, but he was signed for half a million from League One so I don't expect him to.
I thought he was canny tonight. Worked his bollocks off, went close with a chance, created space with his movement, linked well with Grabban. He also gets in the oppositions faces and plays like someone who thinks he has won the lottery by signing for a club the size of ours.
You can't really win on here it seems. All we've heard for the last year is how people can't wait to get rid of the mercenaries and would be happy with someone who will just graft for the shirt. Vaughan is precisely that. Give him a break.
It's safe to say he isn't good enough
His attitude reminded me of Sleeves, no such thing as a lost cause. Bit of fire in his belly and won't give defenders an easy ride. He could score a few, not likely to be Defoe or SKP prolific but could well be worth double figures and for 500k that would be very good value. There was one point in the second half where a cross was massively over hit, he charged after it, kept the ball in play and we were able to mount another attack.
I know it's a small thing, but the three of us watching commented how it's been ages since we have someone willing to do that sort of work. He's going to be useful IF we bring in players who can capitalize on what he brings. Would love him to start banging the goals in too but have my doubts.
Work rate all well and good, especially after it has been missing for a good few year. But sick to death at saying year after f***ing year we need quality, its happy clapping spenks like you who are happy with f***ing any old shit.Changed your mind? Give him a chance you berk. Sounds like he worked his bollocks off for the good of the team.

You noticed as well on his arse, hands in the air appealing for a foul. At least half a dozen times, me and my mate had a good laugh at his antics. I am just hoping he get a goal in the league for us early doors or we will have another whipping boy. From a sitting position?![]()
Obviously you don't know me then, I don't go around booing players, but what I will do is fight for this football club until it starts competing and fighting for players with the right calibre worthy of its fans and stature.I'd be inclined to wait a few months before writing him off.
You're clearly a much more astute judge than I, so you get on down there and boo him til your lungs are hanging out on your chin
That'll show the lad, coming up here trying to win footy games for us, the cheeky tw*t
Yes he's played one competitive league game for us. We need to write him off now. He's already missed two penalties. Start worrying now. He's not very good.
