'Fine'? That's all they can manage after all this time?
How else would you expect it to be? It's not going to ruin the game

It'll be shite mate. I'm not even arsed that it gets some things right. The sterling goal being chalked off in the champs league semi was absolutely comical IMO.
Mind, tbf, most football bores me these days so at least it'll piss some off, which is good value.
You're still getting it.
I do enjoy people getting annoyed by things that don't matter, that's why I am even more in support of it.
Same as how I enjoy players diving and think it shows a great desire to win at all costs. A real winners mentality if you're willing to risk a booking to gain an advantage for your team. Suarez and Neymar are heroes.
Fully agreed. Loved Maradona for that reason. The scenes when Suarez handled on the line and got sent off, then fist pumped when pen was missed was absolutely class.
True. The ref can ignore var should he choose to.Wishful thinking as it's still down to the ref. They can now use it to give big teams proper dodgy decisions.
Absolutely. Just seen the VAR “team” in the van at the Liverpool game with their big red and green buttons. What an utter farceThe backpass rule was a simple rule that revolutionised the game. VAR is a complex minefield that has been talked about for a decade and it's a farce before its even been introduced to the Premier League.
The two are incomparable. One might suggest only a nincompoop would try to compare the two...

I quite like it and I'm not American (though I am shagging one and No!)Goal line technology was needed and is spot on in that it hasnt impacted upon the flow of the game.
VAR is absolutely shite and only liked by Americans.

If it comes to league 1 I am pretty sure we will manage to get relegated to avoid it.VAR is only liked by pricks, morons, girls and smack heads.
Real fans know the score. Fuck VAR and fuck anything that looks like VAR.
League 1 forever
HankWhat's his name?
Hank
They’ve got two big buttons to choose from. One red and one green. What if they press the wrong one - perhaps we need a VAR review team next.Be just the norm once the numpties operating the system get to grips with it.
What about this lateDisagree, games should be decided by the mistakes of the players not the officials.......Many years ago Scarborough played Chelsea in the FA Cup at home. They were losing 1-0 with 5 mins to go when the ball rolled down the Chelsea defenders arm which was in the air at the time....The penalty was not given. Had the game been drawn the replay would have gone to Stamford Bridge, would have been televised with a shared gate and the entire debts of Scarborough would have been wiped out on the back of that one decision/penalty. .
About 2 years later the club went bankrupt for around £1 million and 125 years of history went to the wall.
While an extreme example, no way should games with such massive implications be allowed to be decided by human error where the technology is available and workingin many sports that can deal with it.
