Until he's at the AoL with the scarf above his head it hasn't happened. And I will apply that to every transfer rumour between now and up until the Sept transfer window slams shut! Does me heed in. Agggghhhhhh.

Pretty much ever present in a mid-table team, can't say he ever stood out when I've watched Maritimo. One thing though, he's reasonably pacey and is used to playing a high press, which is good news.

Mid table Portugese football is fuckin rubbish. Theres a reason their big three are the big three.

hes knocking back champions league football to come here apparently:lol:

57 games in 3 seasons in a mid tier team in a very 'ordinary' league is not very much to get enthused about.
If he had so few games because he was injured, is he a sicknote?
If he had so few games because he wasnt good enough, that's a worry given he's 25 yo.
Maybe he's come on leaps and bounds in the past half season but to be frank the last thing we need is an unproven defender.
We 'own' one decent defender in JoS. The rest are garbage.
If we stay up PdC has a majar period of wheeling and dealing in front of him after the dross Bruce and the gonk left behind.

I can see that made up fact is going to become an "SMB truth", repeated so often that the actual truth will never be acknowledged. Like Wickham and his 3 year contract.

Have a word with ESPN soccernet then.
They made them up on my behalf.

For Maritimo: This season he has played 27 league games and 9 Europa League games (In the Primeira Liga there are 30 league games per season). Last season he played 25 league games and 8 Cup Games. The season before he played 25 league games and 3 Cup games.

For Aris: He was an ever present in his first season there, playing all 21 games after he was signed. In his second season at Aris the club were skint and he couldn't play as he wasn't getting paid and was in a contractual dispute because of that.

Ah bless he can't debate so he uses hard lad words.
Bet he's the toughest kid in his school. Tend to find those with a low intellect are aggressive. It masks their deficiciencies and insecurities. Grow up sonny.

OK so you're saying your stats are better than mine.
I said 3 seasons. Where has he bee the past 3 seasons.
Is there any reason why ESPN soccernet should be regarded as inferior to your stats.
I think it's horrid you infer I 'made the stats up'. I'm crushed

Accurate statistics tend to be better than inaccurate ones and those ESPNsoccernet statistics are highly inaccurate. He's played 97 games in the last 3 seasons for Maritimo, in a league that only plays 30 games per season.

He seems to be highly rated, with bigger sides over there interested in signing him but he wants to leave to go to a more high profile league. Can't see any downside to this transfer, considering how many new players we'll need in the summer and I have no idea why people are twisting about it.

Andy
I was quoting from stats produced by one of the biggest sports media groups in the world.
I believe I'm justified in thinking their stats would be as good as anyone else's.
I get the impression you are trying to belittle me because I'm not more discerning in my choice of source and maybe should be looking at the more obscure sites that you seem to get your impeccable data from.
Just looked at Eurosport.com and they say 77 games in the past 3 season

So now we have you saying 97, soccernet 57, and eurosport 77

But hey you're never wrong

No.

You do a good enough job of belittling yourself.

Isn't 'monstrous' Desfartes? What a f***ing balloon that bloke was
