Want to change the 2nd car and I’ve seen 2 locally that are identical and almost the same in price.

One is a 17 plate with 19k miles on the clock
One is a 66 plate with 8,700 on the clock

What would you prioritise age or mileage.

The age is literally 6 months but the 66 plate comes with a 12 month warranty as it’s at a main dealer.

Tempted to think lower mileage is better but then 19k is nothing anyway for a modern car.

Dealer one if only for a bit warranty
As said they could be weeks apart age wise
Same trim level etc ? Emissions rating?

If you're going to keep it for a while, a couple of years down the road 66 or 17 won't matter much. I'd go for mileage, and ask them to discount it because of it's reg. Shy bairns get nowt.

Neither. I would be checking the service history and going for the one thats been better looked after.
