We will never know , but I've read a bit about him and I reckon he would have been one of the best in the world when he hit his peak.

Didn't Bobby Charlton say something along the lines of he would of become the greatest ever? Not too sure if thats right like.

Jesus that coffin scene :eek::-(

Unfortunately hardly any vt of Duncan Edwards, although most people who saw him say him or best were the uk's finest ever player

On a similar note , I wonder how good that Man Utd team would have been if that didnt happen , how many more honours they would have won.

That woman thats playing Bobby Charltons Mam , isnt she SAFC? Im sure I read about her in the LoL

This is making me want to read a few books on the subject. Dunno if that means that it's telling me nowt I don't already know, or it's good.

What Harry Clegg done was brilliant

Gregg innit mate?

He did more than was shown apparently dragged Viollet and Charlton out of the burning fuselage and away from the wreck. Effort son.

I'm sure Dougray Scott, who IS Scottish, for fuck's sake, did his research, along with the rest of the people responsible. I can't see what the objections are to the way Busby is portrayed, just came across as a bloke who was totally committed to the club. To object to him being shown in a trilby and an overcoat are just daft. Most of us are used to seeing more recent photos of nice old, bald, Uncle Matt but .....

The complaints of Bill Foulkes's widow also seem a bit daft, when he clearly WAS mentioned in the film.

My pal was in the film. As the charred body that Charlton walks past just after the crash.
