Under the cosh podcasts

Just listened to the goalkeeper who played against us in the playoffs, David stockdale.
What a cracking lad he comes across. Totally down to earth.
Treated really poor by Birmingham but what got me was how he talked about the pressure young players feel at big clubs. Superb and relatable to us.

Going on about Gareth AINSWORTH. the more I hear about him, the more I think he would do well with us.

Really good podcast. Well worth a listen. He’s like one of the lads.

The one with Kevin Lynch (ref from the 80s and 90s) was funny as ****.

Jeff Winters one was canny as well.

Find the ones with the lads with bags of potential but p***ed it away (no pun intended) due to drink and retiring in their 20s depressing to be honest.

Full thread on PF about them
That Kevin lynch one is topppa (last 5 mins - Sunderland fans 😆)
Steve Howey and John beresford ones also good laugh

Liked everyone so far, by far the best footy podcast, unless anyone else can recommend better. I like the fact the lads who do it and the lads who come on it are not always household names

The early ones, despite having good guests, would get on my tits because of the little comedian presenter. But the three of them have got better and it’s great that they have got lower league players as it paints a great picture of how some of the clubs are run and it’s a great eye opener for fans to get an insight.

It’s a good listen but I don’t like how they don’t call players out on their bull shit.

Prime example being the Danny Graham one. The usual woe is me the fans didn’t like me, the manager didn’t like me etc re his time with us.

But then laughing and joking about being in a police cell before his first training session with us, or going for a night out in London and getting a taxi home before training/a big game.

Supposed to be an elite athlete yet anyone with half a brain would say hold on, were you not part of the problem here Danny?

The ridiculously long intros and adds are also very annoying. As well as constantly badgering on about the patreon, we all know there is a patreon John, if we’ve not signed up by now we aren’t going to.

If you’re on twitter, as soon as they post a new podcast is available, there’s always someone replies with the time the podcast starts so you can forward the podcast to after their waffle.
