UFO's

Everything is false unless he can give convincing evidence, nothing was convincing (to me) so it remains false.
You can't do it the other way around, everything is truth until is proven not to be. It's just the argument again.

Ego?

He didn't stop WW3 in the Cuban missile crisis, he was involved but the way he says it, he single handedly done it himself. Do you believe he stopped WW3 himself just because he said so ?

Do you think he touched a UFO just because he said so? Who would allow anyone to touch a UFO that came about from an atomic explosion, it'd be like holding a piece from Chernobyl

How many times have footballers had their wikis messed with !!
I don't think too much of the wiki stuff, it'll settle down and be correct after moderators finally get on top of it

I'm not sure an 89 year old man in poor health is bursting to feed his ego before his demise.

It's the usual impasse. We aren't going to make a dent in our respective point of views.

I'm going to say his Wikipedia page will remain a skeleton of what it once was and there's also a fair chance the youtube interview will dissappear soon.
Chris Mellon has now had his Wikipedia page completely deleted.

You mean he isn't concerned about his legacy !
At 89 and nearing death is exactly the time you think about your life and legacy, if not way before.

Imagine he was telling you there is no UFO's, it was all spy stuff, having spent his time where he has as economist, would you blindly believe him like you do now?

It's the usual impasse. We aren't going to make a dent in our respective point of views.

My viewpoint is in the middle, I can go either way, my mind is open to either possibility. Just give me the compelling evidence.
Your viewpoint is that UFOs are aliens, you're mind is closed to any other possibility. Even when presented with 26 pages of evidence and calculations.

I thought you might be one of the more open minded believers too, shame on me.

There you go again using the word "aliens" and trying to force the narrative that this is what I believe. Like many, I think there is more to this, and an ever longer list of intelligent people are coming forward saying the same thing. Do I know what it is, no, but it's something.

I don't know what it is, but I have high confidence that's it's not misidentified balloons, birds, planets, etc.

I've read the Go Fast debunk and there are plenty of estimates and an acknowledgement that there is missing data that would actually clear this up, they don't even know what direction the plane was travelling in and don't know what the object was. If they could actually do their jobs and investigate more thoroughly they could find more about this object and others before and after the short clip and that the incursions almost caused the cancellation of a military exercise. I don't believe an experienced fighter pilot would be fooled by an air balloon or bird as I am guessing they are the kind of things that they see pretty regularly during the course of their work.

 and there you go pretending that's not what you mean.

I don't know what it is,

What is what ? You can't still be arguing about go-fast.

Ohh you are.

There is nothing anomalous in go fast movements, nothing, that's a fact, even if we can't conclusively say what the object (about a metre in diameter) actually is.

If nothing else, it goes to show that these highly experienced, highly trained pilots that you and others attach so much validity to, are just like the rest of us and are capable of making mistakes, jumping to conclusions and getting carried away in the moment.

On this thread you have come across as a 'Debunker' not a 'Sceptic', so I'll take this line with a pinch of salt.

Is there not a even a small part of your mind that thinks maybe all of the people, who in your eyes are mistaken are or lieing for a variety of different reasons, might have actually witnessed something or been privy to something that remains unexplained.

There must be a small element of doubt or curiosity?

Yes, they do, I think they believe they saw what they believed they saw. Have they have seen something they can't explained, yes they have, I believe that is what they believe.

Do I think the thing they saw is an alien craft ? I need more than "I saw something I can't explain" that's not enough for me.

They handed you something and said it was part of a UFO craft, so they believe they handled a piece UFO craft.

Do you still believe go fast is potentially an alien craft ?
Do you accept that pilots make mistakes, even simple mistakes and I've changed your mind on their infallibility as you used to believe ?
I said this before, if you swore on your life that what you saw here is real, you'd be wrong, even though you absolutely saw what you saw.

Previously unreleased UAP related files are now starting to be released on the US National Archives website.

There is a recording of officials talking about ways to avoid records being identified through FOI requests and also confirmation that a Colonel Marcellus Duffy had significant materials relating to Roswell stored in his basement!

Obviously a far wider issue than the recent deletions, edits, culling of Harald Malgrem and Chris Mellon's Wilipedia entries but Wikipedia has since had a letter from the US Dept of Justice regarding its operations

And you think this is connected to UFOs ?
culling of Harald Malgrem and Chris Mellon's Wilipedia entries

Seems to be back to normal

Would you be shocked/Horrified if the Governments of the world declared Aliens are among us and have been for thousands of years?

You say he has a daughter?

I have speculated in the past that the multi-trillion dollar per year military industrial complex could be massaging the UAP situation in order to extract more money from world governments from defence spending.

It's not inconceivable that a metaphorical gun was put to the head of the dying man's family in order to extract false testimony from him on his death bed. Or that they agreed to give a hefty sum of money to his family if he agreed to give false testimony.

I have no proof of this, just like there's no proof that aliens are visiting us, but at least my theory involves things that we know exist, and with the world's most commonplace motive - greed.

Not sure what he was referring to with ‘new legislation…wink wink’ tho. Subpoena power would be incredible if done in public.

I've read in the last few days about some new legislation that's going to be submitted which I am guessing this time around won't be shredded as the main blockers from the past who were further up the chain have now been removed.
