Bloody ridiculous of the club to sanction either of those deals i.e. Graham and Alfred.

We can't be spending that sort of money, then deciding to fuck them off 6 months later. I don't give a shit who the manager is, it's very, very poor business.

"oh, oh we save money on wages" I hear you cry. Why f***ing sign them then?

MON signings being given the cold shoulder, it's nothing more than that. Petulance in the extreme.

Yet Johnson & fletcher still here once fletcher fit hell be in the starting x1 ;)

Man... u can't sell shit.. it's already a lot if somebody plays the shit and pays his wages instead of u.

Canny bait. All above is bollocks tho.

MoN what's shooting with shit for signing graham.

De Fanti has already alluded that keeping players on the bench or in the stands on good money cannot happen.

Graham and Alf don't fit with PDC's new system. He has one, he's talked constantly in finding players that will fit it i.e giach.

We've been offered loan fees and wages covered.

I honestly don't see what the problem is. Mistakes were made and PDC is fixing them.

Good post, I agree entirely!

So we get rid of players that Paolo doesn't want, freeing up wages and bringing in loan fees for the pair which will allow us to hopefully get better quality players in, but that's bad business? Reetio.

So what would you have us do?

You do know PDC didn't sign those players don't you?

I'd sell them, or not have signed them in the first place if I was going to sack the manager within months.

We're not talking about players like catts, who has been here a while etc

These players have barely got their foot in the door. In the case of Alfred, he's done nothing wrong. Yes still moved on.

Load of rubbish, Graham was useless last season

I've got a pair of shoes that someone else bought for me (but I had to pay for) but they hurt my feet and make me limp. Someone else thinks they will fit them and likes the look of them. But it would be petulant of me to let him have them, even though he's prepared to reimburse me for them. I could replace them with some made from better (Italian) leather, but I think I will continue to limp along.

Does that about sum it up, OP?

making a small profit on Alfie and bit of a loss on DG so overall not too bad and at least they both "helped" us stop up if more for graft than skill.

Live and die by the sword. Obviously Graham was given the chance and didn't cut it.

Di Canio now has his players and team at his disposal and ultimately will be measured on that.
Can't see anything wrong with previous managers signings playing for PDC and doing well. Di Canio never signed Matt Ritchie, Caddis or Ferry at Swindon and were by far the best players at the Club. If you buy into his philosophy you are in. If you don't you are simply out.
Cross or fall out big time and you are on your way. Caddis went for allegedly falling out on a dietary issue.
Matt Ritchie and the majority of players PDC left behind said it was tough but he was a fantastic coach that improved them as players.

At least as Supporters you know you will get 100 per cent effort and ultimately that is what you want to see.

Caution 40 players in 18 months at Swindon. On the other hand as others have pointed out he wouldn't get away with this at Sunderland and I reckon he learnt from his mistakes.

If things were had concluded better we could have had a few of your kids on loan. Michael Reddy ( I think the name is correct) did us proud.

Its a bit misleading. We will have got a loan fee for both. Which may well be over a million combined and Graham could still easily go for 2/3 even if he has a mediocre season (Does well we get our money back).

N'Diaye, again we should get at least our money back maybe even a profit.

All loaning them is causing is a lack of cash flow in and getting them off the books, but over time I'd imagine we will come close to at least break even on them.

These threads have got to be wind ups, no sane person would post such utter drivel, lately its like every special needs school in Britain has suddenly been given access to the internet.
