Oh, so that's the criteria. Just same leagues. Ok then.

Adebayor to Spurs, Welbeck to Sunderland, Lukaku to WBA, Evans to Sunderland, Kieran Richardson to WBA etc etc etc etc etc

which of those were likely to be competing for league places with each other?. give me one just one example of a team finishing fourth bottom loaning a player to a newly promoted team, anyone at all.

that aside, it would be pretty dull on here if everyone thought the Board was doing a great job or failed to question the manager/ boards decsions, or were completely happy with the way the football club is going.

I think it would be stranger if people did not question the club and its squad shrinking approach, the fact relegation was avoided by the skin of its teeth, and this whole revolving door approach to the playing staff. I am far from happy with any of that however, I have seen enough improvements in one Hong Kong Tournament to have convinced myself the decline is not terminal

It is worth remembering that our current manager did not buy any of the players in last season's squad.

It is a shame that NiDiaye has gone out on loan, but from what I understand that was his decision. Sending Graham on loan makes good sense from every possible angle. We'll get a loan fee; Hull will pay part of his wages; and maybe, just maybe, he'll remember how to score a goal and come back the following season and do it for us. Or he won't, and we'll sell him.

There's nothing wrong with shedding players who have outgrown their usefulness to us. Bardsley, Bramble, Kilgallon et al were never going to feature under Di Canio. So why on earth would we offer them new contracts? To watch them sit on the bench? Or play in the U21 squad?

I have no doubt that it was part of Di Canio's mandate from Mr Short to sort out the squad-- prune the deadwood and bring in freshwood. Bring in players who will be willing to follow a strict training regime and not bloody moan about it to any newspaper that'll listen. Bring in players who won't be willing to settle for a middling season that culminates in a relegation battle-- another season of being forced to rely upon results from teams around us.

Maybe it will all go tits up. Maybe.

But it could also be glorious.

So are Man Utd, Palace and Chelsea, according to your post.

every team in the league are our rivals that is surely a given but as in any league there are teams that we are in direct competition for places with and hull are certainly one of them.every loan deal you mentioned was from a top 3 team to someone they felt would not compete for those spots can you say the same for us and hull?,i see you didnt point out a similiar loan is this because there isnt any to compare?.

My first one was between rivals - Adebayor to Spurs. You said rivals were in the same league, that was your criteria, you typed it out in black and white.

spurs were not fighting for the title with city.

2 teams in the same league are rivals you backward blurt.
so by your definition anyone who loans a player to another team in the same league is making a bad decision.... hmm i wonder why the likes of Sir Alex and other top managers did it for years then... why oh why didnt they follow the mindset of good old MagKnuckle

no example found so avoid the issue, eay way out taken?,with fekkin bells on

I'll lay this out in a way you may understand.

You asked to show where a loan has gone through between rivals.

We ask you to define rivals, which you did. Your definition was 'clubs in the same league'.

we give a number of loans between rivals (in your definition) then change the goalposts because you've been made to look a fool, as per.
