An opportunity for a CB to show some composure and make a statement to JR
I'd try a striker at CB before I'd consider Baldwin and Flanagan.
we know baldwin and flanagan are good enough-the most reliable indicator of how someone will perform a task is how thy performed it before-baldwin and flanagan have performed well-in flanagans case well enough to get promoted-in this league hundreds of times..if they arent doing it for us regualrly (they are) then its a fucntion of the syste they play in..in oru case-the switch to has meant the midfield is weaker because the high press player (honeyman) isnt there anymore-but the idiots that popualte this place criticise honeyman for not being creative but working hard-not realising his specific role is to be the first line of defence in a high press-take that away and the midfield get over run-which is exactly what happened aganst coventry,..
I can not believe you think a number 10 is there to work hard. a number 10 is there to create and score goals. you really are clueless
tell that yo JR..im not saying its he rihht decision..im saying thats whats been happening..honeyman is the high press player...people whine he doesnt create..and he doesnt much..because he is so busy protecting the midfield.
You do not have a number 10 protecting a midfield, absolutely clueless
tell it to JR..i didnt play honeyman there..
but there is a corrwlation between going two up top and conceding lots of goals..and we saw against coventry that we are being over run in midfield..
Baldwin has reverted to the player that he was towards the end of his Peterborough career. Tbf, every Posh fan I know here said he's a good player when he first comes in then slowly goes downhill and ends up making too many mistakes and goes to ground too much.
They reckoned mentally he's not tough enough. Suffers from lack of confidence once the mistakes start creeping in.
Shame as I think there is a decent player there.
