Exactly the same as me. These are halcyon days. 85-88 saw up go from top flight and a cup final to the third flight in hooligan infested crumbling stadiums. (From 100,000 at Wembley to 2,740 at Doncaster's dilapidated Belle View ground) My daughter was born the day we lost 4-0 at home to Aston Villa in front of 12000 at Roker. In May 85. We average almost 4 x that number in the last 3-4 shitty years.I started going in 1974. This is by far the longest unbroken period in the top flight since 1958 - thats nearly 60 years - its not all bad despite how much people on here want to make it out.
That might explain why I'm not bothered as much as some as have seen a whole lot worse shit over the decades. All about perspective, in my case anyway.
