Two clubs interested in Oviedo

He's the last excuse they have for the complete lack of quality incoming transfers, so I hope it's true.
Thought the reason was that we have too many in the squad as we're in a position to 'give it a right good go'.

We still look 2-3 over the 20 (including Robson/Hume) by my count.

Let him be like Robin Hood
Buried where his last arrow landed
He can move to where his last crossed ball lands

Probably Saturn

That, and having about a 24 man senior squad already.

Not better but Hume should be more than good enough from what I’ve seen like
Hume, even though hes good going forward, is very suspect defending

I'm an advocate for young players playing however I dont think Hume is ready to be no 1 LB. We would need someone in the replaced Ovideo

No. People want him to leave, not realising that if he does, we won't replace him with a better player. Strange.
Madness.

What have you seen?

Last time he played down Southend he was woeful. I agree we should give him a go but he's shown nothing to earn his spot. Looks like he has a lot of pace but lacks ability on the ball & struggles defensively.
Good going forward weak at the back

Why fingers crossed?
Ross has said it’s a one in one out. Oviedo is on huge wages for L1.

Get rid and we can not only bring someone in, the wages saved will also help.

For me the jury is still out in respect of Hume but others can cover fullback positions and if getting Oviedo out gives us the chance to bring in a player to address a glaring gap in the squad (e g someone with pace) then it’s an easy decision to make.
