Your wasting your time, I wouldn’t bother Sleepy.Sky, which I can cancel any time. Choice is a wonderful thing isn’t it.

Do you watch any live TV?Agree mate. Never mind one day they may see the wood for the trees![]()
Do you watch any live TV?
Sky is brilliant, would you be happy to pay for that by default?
And bt tv.
And EE tv.
And Netflix.
Etc![]()
You need a licence then from what I’m reading @Sleepy : https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/tv-licence
Of course I knew that.I have one.![]()
Radio still costs money to run, so if no licence fee=no radio.I don’t have a tv licence, haven’t for years, I don’t have an aerial running into the house and I don’t have Sky, I do have Netflix, amazon prime and nowtv.
And all those still cost me less than a license would and I get a hell of a lot better value for money, I wouldn’t line the BBCs pockets if they were the last tv service available.
Also those on about BBC radio, you don’t need a license for that, the radio clause was binned years ago.

You and I have very different ideas of what constitutes "class".some class vids on youtube of people telling the inspectors where to go.
A test case would fall on its arse completely. The law is if you watch any live broadcast or use iPlayer you need a TV licence.Understand this has been discussed prev, but can’t believe it’s a blanket pay or else.
These days it’s achievable to encrypt channels like other company’s, it will take a test case to completely blow the BBC Up and stop the compulsory purchase fee.
I think it’s still good value, but don’t believe its sustainable under the current structure, payment process.
I am happy to pay. A brilliant service.
Worth every penny
Don’t think there are bars on the windows anymore. Potential anchor point if someone wants to hang themselves. No one else is allowed to walk up to people, put handcuffs on them and lock them up in little rooms with bars on the windows, why should the police be?
I suppose your correct. Even if you watch live tv on your computer you still need one.I was under the impression that it's actually a licence that enables you to operate a receiving device., rather than the TV licence it's often referred to as being.
Through your IP address.I suppose your correct. Even if you watch live tv on your computer you still need one.
How tv licensing would know you do is another matter.
Pretty much unenforceable http://www.independent.co.uk/news/m...fi-networks-iplayer-licence-a7177396.html?ampThrough your IP address.
We do.You and I have very different ideas of what constitutes "class".
