If I had the patience I’d buy two and sell one off. They’re almost double retail on the grey market over here. You better believe it
Or you can buy one now from a reseller for 15k

Does it come with crisp packaging? What’s everyone’s thoughts on them? Beautiful timepieces or Rolex’s inferior little brother?
Thinking about ordering a Tudor Black Bay GMT Pepsi. I’d love the Rolex Pepsi but could never afford the inflated and quite frankly ridiculous market price.
Here’s a pic if anyone’s interested. Retail at £2830.

The Batman’s going the same direction too..If I had the patience I’d buy two and sell one off. They’re almost double retail on the grey market over here.
I wouldn't worry about the depreciation of a quality watch. If you get the pleasure of wearing it then the depreciation is offset. I bought my first Sub 20 years ago for £2.5k and sold it for £4k after 15 years. I've bought others since and providing they're not abused and serviced as required, some have held their price, others have appreciated due to market demands. Depreciation only comes into it when you're buying fashion brandname tat. By the best you can afford, even if it means saving a little for it.The Tudor I’m looking at has actually appreciated given the popularity of “Pepsi” watches on the market. I know that may not be the case in the future of course.

Or this. Casio W-86, the king of watchesGet a Casio for less than an Ayrton when they're on offer.
Lovely watches but one day you’ll be stood at a bar and somebody in a Rolex GMT will be standing next to you, and you’ll quietly pull down your sleeve to cover your Tudor.
By the time you’ve been served and get back to your Mrs with the drinks, she’ll have fucked off with the bloke with the Rolex.
It does mate but you have a climb a mountain firstDoes it come with crisp packaging?

Do it! What Rolex were you originally wanting?Fancied a rolex for years now so I started hoying a bit cash to one side every so often. Now having saved up a canny little pot (and being better off than I was back then) I could treat myself.
However, now I just can't bring myself to go and spend that much on a watch.
Just a plain old sub. Blole at work wore one day in day out, long before this celebrity bling culture and I always thought it just sat well and looked quality.Do it! What Rolex were you originally wanting?
Don't think of it as spending. Think of it as storing the money in something that will give you pleasure instead of the bank (at sod-all %). Buy an excellent/mint condition 2 year old or newer, with box and papers, (a must, don't have, don't buy) and it will take care of itself. Should you need to recoup the money it's easily sellable and you'll lose very little on it. Don't spend your time wishing you had a Rolex. Theres still a decent waiting time for them I believe. What’s everyone’s thoughts on them? Beautiful timepieces or Rolex’s inferior little brother?

They've done well. £11k to £14k now. Serious money. I've always been afraid of colour in a watch. In case I wake up one morning and discover I don't like green or blue, or something.Spend the extra and invest in a Rolex. You won't regret it. I bought my Submariner 'Kermit' in 2007 for just over 3k and some of them are now going for 4 or 5 times that amount.
