Good player who I think will do really when in their system, the price is a joke like. Worst thing about it is daft deals like this will drive up prices for teams like us.

Ulloa is shite because he only scored 6 goals last season, yet you would rather sign the striker who scored goals but doesn't take penalties.
I didn't say ulloa was shite I think we should be signing better than him.

I'd rather sign players who have a good goal scoring record from open play. Deeney scored a lot of goals last season which looks great on paper but if you take away the penalties it is nothing but average. Certainly no where near 25m

I'm not so sure he would do well in their system.

Leicester have an opportunity to recruit next level players this summer and paying £25m for Deeney basically tells the footballing world that they are they for the taking - financially.

It would be a good time for them to impose an age limit on big signings to secure their medium term future.

Graham and Altidore had good records. It's about buying the right players to fit how you want the team to play, building partnerships all over the pitch and making sure everyone has the right attitude. I hope we sign players for a reason this summer, not based on reputation or getting a good deal.

Altidore had a pure shit record in good leagues.

And graham is the exact reason I am against signing players like deeney and ulloa.

What people should remember is that whilst we lose the likes of Fletcher as his contract is up, Deeney signed a 5 year deal just last season, this will bump the transfer fee up.

Don't get me wrong I totally agree they should be aiming a lot higher and this is their opportunity to land better players than they will ever get. But I think he would do quite well without exceeding expectations or disappointing.
