Trip to New York

Those who would have driven them from Selhurst Park to Gatwick Airport.

Not quite sure what your point is. We had a great result last week, fantastic, our best result of the season. Unfortunately these results are few and far between. Today was yet another golden opportunity to climb out of the relegation zone, a position we have been in all season, the majority of last season, and the season before that.

I'm not quite sure what a trip to New York is going to achieve. They certainly don't deserve it as I said above. I'm assuming you believe they do given your sarcastic response above. I can't remember us having one mid season trip away in the past in which we've returned from and actually won a game.

and if the manager does crack the whip, the players go higher up to get the manager sacked

Neville was spot on in saying any footballer who does that is despicable, and on that basis - a fair few of our team are.

And yet the players were backed by many on here when they did just that to Di Canio.

My point is simple.
Had we only gained a point at Palace and a point today, no one would be batting an eyelid at a trip to New York no matter how badly we had played in either game, and that includes you.

All these jolly boys jaunts are bad PR, if I had the odd good week at work in a year of general failure, I wouldn't expect such rewards. After today's performance they deserve fuck all

I'd rather we spent the money on Bradley going on a vip trip to Disney World whilst those tossers go to a retirement home for a week, where they belong.

But we didn't. And for some bizarre reason you're getting on your high horse after we've just been slaughtered at home.

...and you both reactionary and hysterical in calling for a trip to be cancelled like some kind of travel agent tribunal

I'm pleased you're happy with how things are progressing and that you're in agreement that the lads are deserving a trip to New York during the season. Good for you.

There are a number of other posters that agree. Funnily enough, you didn't quote them.

Rubbish, it was a ridiculous idea from the start. You really think if we had got 2 points from games against Palace and Southampton our fans would suddenly have thought they deserve an all expenses paid trip to New York? Its a disgusting waste of money and they shouldn't be going.

Is it too late to petition Trump, and ask him to ban the feckrrs as they are a complete waste of space and time
